This course is designed to equip learners with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable them to efficiently perform office duties in a quest to increase organisational productivity. The graduate produced will be able to type documents to industry set standards, communicate effectively, manage the office competently, use computer application packages, apply basic accounting functions and apply entrepreneurial skills in secretarial and office management. Graduates will be employed as Typist/Receptionist/Office Assistant and can even start up their own businesses. The total duration upto deploma is 3 years. Candidates are expected to sit for exams every year for promotions to next level and a certificate is awarded to a successful candidate by TEVETA examining body.
