The programme will therefore, provide the nation with qualified Automotive Technicians who will apply the skills acquired through this programme and other related disciplines to meet the highlighted demands in both the formal and informal sectors of the Zambian economy.
The purpose of the programme is to equip the trainee with knowledge, skillsand attitudes in Automotive to enable them perform competently in both the formal and informal sector of the economy. They will be able to diagnose, repair, maintain motor vehicles and equipment to acceptable international standards.
Requirements
- Direct entry. Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of credits in English Language,
Mathematics, Science and any other two (2) subjects.

Mature age entry. A minimum of Craft Certificate in a related discipline from an accredited
institution and a minimum of two (2) years working experience.
Exemptions will be awarded as per TEVETA guidelines.
Duration
Two and half years inclusive of 6 months Industrial Attachment.
