Connect to Eduroam
eduroam (education roaming) is a secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. It allows students, researchers, and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campuses and when visiting other participating institutions using a single, secure login.
For Android and iPhone (Using geteduroam App):
1. Download the App: Search for geteduroam in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and install it.
2. Open the App: Launch the app after installation.
3. Select Institution: Type and select Lusaka Business and Technical College from the list.
4. Enter Your Credentials:
Note: Do not include slashes ( / ) in the NRC number.
Username: yourNRC#@lbtc.ac.zm
Password: your NRC#
Note: Do not include slashes ( / ) in the NRC number.
5. Connect: Tap "Connect to Network". The app will automatically configure your device.
6. You're Connected! You should now have access to the eduroam network.
For Windows (Using geteduroam for Desktop):
1. Download Installer: Visit geteduroam.app and download the Windows version.
2. Run the Installer: Open the file and allow it to install.
3. Select Institution: Search for Lusaka Business and Technical College.
4. Enter Your Credentials:
Note: Do not use slashes in the NRC.
Username: yourNRC#@lbtc.ac.zm
Password: your NRC#

5. Connect: The app will configure the network automatically and connect your PC to eduroam.
